Edge FM has left Town & District Transport Trust

Edge FM made the decision in August 2022, despite extensive investment, to leave Town & District Transport Trust. As many of you may know, we had our fixed studio at the Trust, with the walls painted red and blue and our giant studio logo on the wall. We had this coupled to a PA system with in excess of 7 pendant speakers, 2 cabinet speakers and 3 Bose subwoofers throughout the entire venue to play our live broadcasts throughout the building. In addition to our studio at the Trust, we also attended their yearly Great Harwood Transport Festival event. The event spans 2 days and we typically provided live music for both of the days, with the event raising money for the Trust. Unfortunately, Edge FM will no longer attend this event on a yearly basis or operate any programmes from the Trust. However, we intend to reinvest time and funding saved from decomissioning our existing studio location to facilitate various future events and programmes.
